Condos...

Take advantage of this weak market while you can. I have been able to locate several condominiums at 40% to 75% below listing price, one in San Fran and another in Miami. The deals are good! The source I used to locate them is good....

How wrong you are.

Portland Cement is responsible of over 5% of global greeen house emmissions with over 0.7t of CO2 emitted per tonne of Portland Cement produced. Why not consider geopolymer concrete which can reduce these GHG emissions by up to 80% using fly ash and slags?
The production of Portland cement is energy intensive and requires the use of diminishing reserves of raw materials such as limestone, coal and clay. Using green fuels only provides minor improvements, to make major inprovements you need to revisit the whole process and look at geopolymer concrete or other alternative concretes (but then the cement companies would not like that and thats why they keep saying they are green when the can be much greener).

Check out this New Scientist article and other info on geopolymer concrete. Australia is leading the way.

Yes, let's burn all our wastes in cement plants that were never designed to do that job. That don't have to landfill their waste residues, that can emit much more air pollution, that can spread those wastes all over creation though cement use. Great idea!

And when we do this, let's make sure that all cement plant executives are required to have their plants' exhaust vented directly into their homes.
